SUP spot: Hobro

In Hobro you can try SUP in scenic surroundings by the harbor or Ørnedals Bay.

In Hobro there are several good places to stand on SUP. A popular starting point is Hobro Marina on the north side of the fjord. Here the calm water and beautiful atmosphere create the perfect conditions for a relaxing SUP experience. The harbor is also ideal for beginners, as the launch is easy. 

On foot or on the water, east of Hobro Marina you can reach Sildehagen and the popular Nøglebro. A popular excursion spot and bathing spot. Further east you can reach the famous Bramslev Bakker with the Panorama route. 

Another starting point in Hobro is Ørnedalsbugten, which lies on the south side of Mariager Fjord, and you get here by dirt roads through the Baltic Forest. A truly beautiful area - also for cycling and hiking.

Mariager Fjord offers many beautiful spots in beautiful nature and calm waters that are ideal for beginners and experienced alike. You can paddle along the fjord and enjoy the magnificent view.

At the marina, there are many facilities, while the bay of Ørnedals is more sparse, but the approach to the fjord is still fine. There is, however, a toilet at the shelter site in Ørnedals Bay.
