The Baltic Forest in Hobro

In Hobro Østerskov, the trees are tall and majestic, the area is hilly, but the larger paths are usually well-maintained and easy to walk on.

Østerskoven is a good place to go for a short walk, and at the same time get a lovely nature experience and a view over Mariager Fjord.

The part of the forest that is closest to Hobro is old and some of the oak trees here are hundreds of years old.
Forest cattle graze between the old trees and make the forest light and airy. It creates living space for many species of birds and butterflies.
